Your role
Are you a self-starter who takes initiative in handling assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment? Are you passionate about driving end to end completion of tasks while keeping related parties informed? We are looking for someone like you to:
• support the AdviceLink program by working with Financial Advisors, Branch Managers, and Market Heads to help administer the AdviceLink program
• liaise with Advisory Program Management, Legal, Compliance, Billing, Supervision, Anti-Money & Laundering Team, Anti-Bribery & Corruption Team and the Conflicts of Interest Team to help manage business guideline exceptions
• perform due diligence with background checks, state registration requirements (Form ADV), and FINRA registration checks
• maintain key procedural controls to assess effective implementation of contract risk controls as well as analyze product specific control reports, tools, monitor shared mailboxes and update/maintain internal product documentation
• support and/or lead regulatory or risk related initiatives, audits, and report requirements and help identify, report, monitor and remediate risk issues
• provide strategic analysis in addition to implementation support to the Specialties Business Development Manager and broader Americas Business Development team
• support development of US Specialty Businesses in in alignment with GWM Americas strategy and objectives
• manage multiple projects against tight deadlines with discipline and attention to detail

• New York: the salary range for this role is $90000 to $120000

Your team
You will be based in New York and report directly to the Specialties Business Development Manager. You will support the AdviceLink business as well as work in close partnership with the team to drive growth in other specialty businesses and feeder channels.
Your expertise
• ideally college degree, Finance major preferred
• Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
• deep understanding of risk, audit, regulatory environment and functions, Operational Risk Framework, business governance functions and activities
• knowledge of Wealth Management service delivery model, products, capital markets, regulations
• strong Microsoft skills and data analysis capabilities to identify issues and communicate remediation plans
• excellent interpersonal communication skills
