UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Credit Risk Analyst in New York, NY

We're looking for an Associate Director, Credit Risk Analyst to:
• Assess new transactions and manage credit risk across a portfolio of leveraged loans. Prepare and review new credit opportunities, drawing conclusions on creditworthiness, risk appetite, exposure drivers, and business prospects.
• Ensure credit exposures to counterparties are managed within the firm's policies and credit appetite guidelines. Support the execution of leveraged finance transactions, including underwritten, best-efforts, and relationship loans. Manage derivative and other related credit requests.
• Support due diligence efforts, ensuring thorough risk assessments and regulatory compliance throughout the deal lifecycle. Prepare regular and ad-hoc portfolio management reports, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Hold delegated personal authority within established risk-based limits to approve new positions or make recommendations to higher authority levels within credit.
• Provide guidance on Shared National Credit exam-specific documents, ensuring analyses meet regulatory standards. Conduct portfolio surveillance and escalate industry or sub-sector concerns to senior leadership.
• Manage and collaborate with colleagues of varying seniority and geographic locations to ensure seamless communication and execution of responsibilities.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary Range & Work Schedule: $135,000 to $175,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Studies, Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in Regulatory Affairs, Risk Compliance Analysis/Management, or a related occupation
Position requires experience with the following:
• Credit risk within the general investment banking category; Credit risk underwriting; Loan portfolio management; Financial analysis; Enterprise valuation; Legal documentation; Leveraged lending guidelines; Quantitative risk analysis; Financial modelling; Understanding of complex financial structures; Presenting complex analyses to varied audiences; Leveraged finance capital markets.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 135000 - max USD 175000 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
