Your role
UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Engineer in Weehawken, NJ

We're looking for an Associate Director, Engineer to:
• Design and develop sustainable solutions utilizing modern programming languages.
• Conduct code reviews and test software as needed.
• Participate in application architecture and design, and other phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze business requirements for UBS.
• Ensure implementation of proper operational controls and procedures to move processes from test to production.
• Drive UBS' Agile implementation to ensure continuous optimization of UBS' ability to rapidly deliver features/solutions to UBS clients.
• Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen UBS' position as a digital leader in the financial services industry; Foster collaboration, accountability, and transparency.
• Collaborate and coordinate deliverables across teams globally; Uphold high standards for timely and business critical deliverables.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/Remote).

Salary Range & Work Schedule: $166,000 and $186,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer, Technology Analyst, Java Tech Lead, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• RedHat Linux; Core JAVA; J2EE Frameworks on Spring MVC; Spring Boot; Spring Core-container; Spring JPA; Hibernate; REST API; Oracle SQL and PL/SQL; NoSQL; Databases including Mongo or Cassandra; JavaScript; HTML5; CSS3; JQuery; IBM WebSphere Application Server; and JMS, MQ and Kafka.
