Your role
The CD Funding Desk is a leading CD underwriter and distributer of Brokered CDs in the market.

• Manage deal closing process to ensure all deals settle without issues.
• Collaborate with trading desks, sales teams, and operations to ensure trade issues and settlements are resolved timely.
• Assist with trade entry, corrections, research to minimize operational risks.
• Coordination of wire payments to Depository Institutions.
• Cover Secondary trading book
• Manage and facilitate Financial Advisor (FA) trade inquiries and Order flow.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities that enhance revenue and market reach.
• Support onboarding of new clients and ensure compliance with internal risk and control policies.
• Contribute to the growth of the desk through proactive client engagement with Selling Group Members and Prospecting of Bank Issuers
• Manage risk - on both single-name and broader book basis
• Work closely with senior members of the team to develop and execute funding strategies that attract & maintain bank clients

Your team
You will work collectively with the trading desk to manage deal flow and inventory to ensure each deal closes and settles seamlessly. Along with helping to expand the distribution capabilities and grow depository institution coverage.

Your expertise
• Candidates are required to hold professional licenses. Series 7 and series 66.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products including CDs, Treasuries, Corporate Bonds.
• Strong appetite for improving trading workflow via digitalization and automation.
• Strong computer skills, with advanced skills in Excel and Bloomberg API.
• Strong Knowledge of VBA, Python or PowerBI/Tableau Software.
• Formulate, analyze data and perform quantitative analysis from large data set.
• Ability to review and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Operate well under pressure, be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 137500 - max USD 160000 /annum

The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
