Consulting - Technology Consulting - SAP - Data Migration & Master Data Governance (MDG) Data Engineer (Senior Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1678812), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Charlotte, NC.
Provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP data migration and master data governance technologies to improve their operations with a focus on helping clients improve performance and increase productivity. Lead team members in working with the key stakeholders to understand their data migration and master data governance needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. Liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into data migration and master data governance solutions on an SAP platform. Initiate requirement gathering and blueprinting. Oversee functional and technical designs of the solution, perform testing, and write documentation. Manage relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Oversee design, build and operate scalable on-premises or cloud data architecture and modeling solutions that facilitate data storage, integration, management, validation and security, supporting the entire data asset lifecycle. Lead teams to deliver data migration solutions and Master Data Governance (MDG).
Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds by providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services. Generate and manage new business opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related field 8 years of work experience (of which 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience). Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related field and 7 years of work experience.
Must have 6 years of experience in providing consulting services to external clientele in the strategy, design, configuration, and implementation of SAP solutions within a professional services firm.
Must have 5 years of experience as a SAP Data Lead-leading a team to deliver data migration solutions and Master Data Governance (MDG).
Must have 6 years of experience gathering requirements and working with offshore team member(s) and onsite process architects for coordination and day-to-day delivery of projects.
Must have 5 years of experience with ELT (extract, loading, transform) and data ingestion/cleansing.
Must have 5 years of experience counselling and mentoring junior level consultants by providing structured, on-the-job feedback.
Must have 5 years of experience leading workshops and client-facing presentations.
Must have 5 years of experience managing SAP data migration and SAP MDG projects or workstreams, and project-based team members.
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
