As a Data Movement Specialist within PNC's Tempus Technologies organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

As a Data Movement Specialist, you will play a foundational role in shaping our Data Governance program, with a primary focus on the Data Movement domain. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of core governance practices and frameworks that will guide how data is exchanged, classified, retained, and managed across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Application-Level Context Mapping: Develop and maintain application-level context diagrams to visualize data flows and dependencies across systems-an essential capability that currently does not exist.
• Data Exchange Documentation: Identify, document, and standardize data exchange mechanisms between applications, addressing inconsistencies and gaps in current practices.
• Data Movement Principles Evaluation: Assess and define principles for secure, efficient, and compliant data movement across platforms and environments.
• Lifecycle Management Support: Contribute to broader data governance efforts, including data classification, retention policies, and lifecycle management strategies.
• Attestation & Compliance: Assist in attestation processes and ensure alignment with governance standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Experience in Data Governance, Data Movement, Data Retention, or similar domains.
• Background in Business Systems Analysis or roles involving cross-functional collaboration between technical and business teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues.
This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Job Description
- Manages and develops information systems for clients; conducts data information analysis for a variety of studies under the direction of organizational standards. Develops strategies for data implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery.
- Helps advise business, applications and operations counterparts to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Structures the environment and creates logical storage units especially for size and physical locations, to map database elements into logical units.
- Implements and supports technologies for managing and effectively utilizing multiple information sources, formats and uses. Resolves data integration and security issues for adherence to the organization's quality standards.
- Researches customers needs, conducts awareness and promotional sessions for potential customers.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $172,250.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.

Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 10/23/2025, although it may be longer with business discretion.
