Description
At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. In business transformation digital solutions at PwC, you will assist clients with business transformations leveraging large scale digital solutions such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Workday, Identity and Access Management tools and other business applications. You will utilise innovative solutions to help clients assess and manage risk and controls during their transformation journey. Working in this area, you will assess the client's approach for ERP security, business process and IT General Controls, while educating our clients on leading practice recommendations.Driven by curiosity, you are a reliable, contributing member of a team. The Opportunity
As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Tech Intern, you will engage in projects that focus on business transformation through digital solutions, supporting client-facing initiatives. You will be part of a dynamic environment where you can apply your learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and performing basic tasks that contribute to the team's success. This role emphasizes learning and gaining exposure, allowing you to observe professional work environments and contribute reliably to project goals.

Responsibilities
- Supporting audit teams in evaluating and assessing internal control systems to promote operational efficiency and compliance
- Participating in the integration of ERP systems into existing IT infrastructures, focusing on data migration and process alignment
- Assisting in the management of security controls by developing policies and monitoring threats to protect information systems
- Conducting security control assessments to evaluate system security features and identify potential vulnerabilities
- Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to optimize performance and enhance user experience
- Collaborating with teams to implement SOX compliance measures, ensuring adherence to financial reporting standards
- Utilizing BASIS Database Management System (DBMS) for relational data access and navigational operations
- Contributing to the development of access control measures to manage and authorize resource access
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and contribute effectively to team goals
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following field(s) of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration/Management
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
