Job Description:The Role
Are you passionate about delivering world-class dining experiences? As the Dining Room Manager for Specialty Dining at Fidelity Investments, you will lead the way in crafting an outstanding atmosphere for our guests! You will be managing reservations, coordinating food and beverage service, and ensuring an outstanding ambiance in our signature venues. Your role is pivotal in providing flawless service that leaves a lasting impression.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Coordinating the daily operations of the front of house team, ensuring smooth and efficient service from breakfasts, lunches, and occasional receptions & dinners.
- Handling inventory for front of house sections, making certain they remain sufficiently supplied to support business demands.
- Supervising and training the waitstaff team, conducting pre-service briefings, and crafting work schedules to maintain service excellence.
- Managing reservations, ensuring accuracy, and communicating dietary restrictions with the culinary team.
- Reporting on volume of activity and projections.
You are a dynamic and highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, organized environment. Your experience in upscale dining settings and your ability to multitask will be essential in this role. You will play a crucial part in our customer-obsessed team, sharing your expertise while working independently with confidence and poise. Your attention to detail and dedication to flawless execution will set you apart.
- A high school degree or equivalent experience is required; a college degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in an upscale dining environment.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred certifications: ServSafe Food, CPR Training, and TiPS Alcohol Certification.

The Team
We are a team that prides itself on delivering outstanding dining experiences to high-level Fidelity executives and external guests. Our collaborative efforts ensure that we provide a welcoming and memorable experience for all, maintaining the highest service standards. We work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to accommodate special requests and dietary needs thoughtfully. Our dedication to inclusion and collaboration drives us to achieve excellence in every service!
The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
