Job Description:The Role
Consolidated Data Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to establish and oversee a newly formed Security Reference Operations Team based in Merrimack, NH. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for setting a clear vision, driving strategic direction, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
We're looking for a candidate with deep expertise in fixed Income assets and alternative investment instruments such as private credit and broadly syndicated loans (BSLs). The successful candidate will lead efforts to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and governance of security reference data that supports Fidelity's investment professionals across the globe.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on complex instrument data.
- Partner closely with global investment managers and key business partners on our Fixed Income and High Income trading desks.
- Deliver trusted reference data that enables efficient and informed investment decision-making.
- Shape operational processes and data standards for a growing and evolving asset class.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the strategic vision for the Security Reference and Business Entity Operations Team, aligning with broader business and data governance objectives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering accurate, timely, and well-governed reference data to support trading desks and investment professionals.
- Responsible for data stewardship of security reference data and business entities, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Design and implement data controls for private credit instruments, and ratings hierarchies, supporting transparency, consistency, and downstream data consumption.
- Champion data quality and integrity across private credit and loan instruments, enabling efficient and informed investment decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, risk, compliance, and investment teams to ensure seamless integration of data operations into broader business processes.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation opportunities, and proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years in financial services or data operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of data strategy and governance principles with a dedication to upholding data policies for the benefit of all consumers
- Strong understanding of Private Credit and Loan data and/or operations preferred
- Strong understanding of investment operations, fund accounting, and data management principles
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to present sophisticated information in a clear, digestible way to multiple audiences.
- Proven track record of navigating and influencing across a demanding organization with conflicting priorities
- Ability to challenge the status quo - bring thought leadership - and inspire followership

The Team
The team is part of Consolidated Data Services (CDS), which is responsible for FFIO data strategy and governance, data management, advanced data analytics, vendor relations, research and market data services, and more.
"CDS" is part of Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) which provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products.
