EY Law - Legal Transformation Solution - Senior - Legal Transformation

With evolving regulations, emerging technologies, and shifting market dynamics, legal teams are seeking innovative ways to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and contribute meaningfully to their organizations.
We are excited to announce a career opportunity within our EY Law Legal Transformation Solution (LTS) team for a Senior specializing in Legal Transformation. Our LTS team partners with high-profile national and multinational clients to elevate the performance of their legal functions and drive organizational value. Your key responsibilities as a member of our team:
As a Senior in our LTS team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how clients operate their legal functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Strategy and Organizational Design: Collaborate with clients to identify improvement opportunities and develop optimized legal service delivery models and organizational structures.
- Process Engineering and Optimization: Design efficient and innovative legal-business processes that enhance productivity, mitigate risks, and drive business outcomes.
- Legal Spend Analysis and Strategic Sourcing: Perform spend analysis and strategic planning to optimize legal department activities.
- Program and Change Management: Lead transformation initiatives, calculate ROI and investment profiles, and prepare change impact analyses.
- Contracting Transformation: Understand contracts and contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes. Assist clients in modernizing, streamlining, and automating their contracting efforts while leveraging contract data for actionable business insights.
- AI and Digital Transformation:
- Help clients maximize the value of existing technology investments and design new legal service technology platforms (e.g., Case Management, Matter Management/eBilling, CLM, legal service workflows, Document Management, Document Automation).
- Utilize experience with commercial legal technology applications to assist clients in evaluating, selecting, and implementing technologies that enhance processing efficiency (e.g., SharePoint, Onit, Team Connect).
- Apply knowledge of AI and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for leveraging automation and AI to drive efficiencies and reduce overall costs in legal operations.
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree/JD with 4 years of experience (preferred fields: Information Systems, Business, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or Legal Studies).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CIPP/E, CIPPM, CISA, CISSP, CISM, LPIP, PMP) or membership in good standing with a State Bar.
- Proven ability to identify and address client needs, build relationships, and manage project workflows, budgets, and collections.
- Experience within a corporate legal department is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- High attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations impacting legal analysis.
- Relevant experience in areas such as Legal Department Operations, Legal Technology and Innovation, Contract Management, Legal Transformation, or Process Improvement.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
- Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
