These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in international tax at PwC will provide advice and guidance to clients on structuring their global tax positions. Your work will involve analysing international tax laws and regulations to develop strategies that optimise tax efficiency and minimise risks for multinational businesses.Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognising when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly communicate how things fit together. The Opportunity
As part of the Financial Services Global Structuring M&A team you are expected to advise multinational corporations, private equity firms, and private companies on the tax aspects of diligence and structuring deals. As a Senior Manager you are to lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You are also responsible for building trust with multi-level teams and stakeholders through open and honest conversation, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale projects in the FSGS M&A team
- Innovate tax processes for multinational corporations and private equity firms
- Maintain standards of operational excellence
- Engage with clients at a senior level to confirm successful deal structuring
- Build and sustain trust with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Motivate and coach teams to address complex tax issues
- Foster open and honest communication across various levels
- Analyze cross-border tax issues and legislative updates
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
What Sets You Apart
- Assisting companies and financial firms to understand and assess the tax impact of cross border M&A transactions
- Researching Tax and consulting within an international taxation environment with a focus of M&A
- Possessing prior tax due diligence experience
- Possessing considerable knowledge of public accounting practices, law firm or corporate tax department of a multinational company
- Analyzing structural realignment, cash and financial statements effectively
- Improving tax efficiencies of cross border flows in an M&A context
- Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement
- Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections
- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal resources

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
