Skills and Competencies
- Experience with generative models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph
- Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills and collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as credit scoring, risk modeling, and lending workflows is a plus
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Computational Finance, or a related field
- Graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027
- Ability to work during program dates: June 1st - August 7th 2026
Responsibilties
- Research and prototype agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) tailored for financial decision-making and risk analysis
- Develop and evaluate generative AI models for use cases such as credit risk assessment, loan origination, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with data scientists, financial analysts, and software engineers to integrate AI agents into real-world workflows
- Conduct prompt engineering and feedback loop experiments to improve agent reliability, interpretability, and performance
- Explore multi-agent coordination strategies for tasks like portfolio optimization, scenario simulation, and stress testing
- Document findings and present results to stakeholders across business and technical teams
About the Team
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of financial services and advanced AI technologies, contributing to the design and prototyping of intelligent agents that can reason, plan, and interact with complex financial systems.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly range for this position is $45, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
