Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex Windows OS troubleshooting
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and Intune Endpoint Management is required
- Basic understanding of networking and security concepts (i.e. VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancing, etc.) is required
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and provide end-to-end ownership of incidents and problems in a fast-paced, global environment
- Automation/scripting skills using PowerShell are a plus
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring
- AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- Industry certifications in relevant areas are a plus
Responsibilities
We are looking for a seasoned Windows Systems Engineer with a primary focus in the Azure Virtual Desktop space. You will serve as an escalation path to our Help Desk and Technical Support teams for multi-user impacting issues in the environment.
- Provide Tier 3 operational support for Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows environments
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles/documentation for Tier 1/2 teams
- Follow standard ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Analyzing metrics, logs, and system alarms to troubleshoot problems proactively
- Facilitate outage restoration calls to assess application impact, notify business stakeholders, and restore system functionality
- Collaborate effectively with global teams, working on-call as required
- Hybrid position with 2x a week in-office

Our Digital Workplace Services Operations team is responsible for 24x7 global support to end users across multiple platforms and technologies. We provide expert advice and counsel to users, management, and IT project teams to create a best-in-class end user experience. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $98,300.00 - $142,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
