These individuals help organisations streamline their operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency by managing key processes and functions on their behalf. They are skilled in project management, technology, and process optimization to deliver high-quality services to clients. Those in managed service management and strategy at PwC will focus on transitioning and running services, along with managing delivery teams, programmes, commercials, performance and delivery risk. Your work will involve the process of continuous improvement and optimising of the managed services process, tools and services.Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognising when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly communicate how things fit together. Your ability to develop and sustain high performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, and your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our Firm.

The Opportunity
As part of the Managed Services team you will lead large projects and innovate processes in Financial Service Controllership & Accounting. As a Senior Manager you will serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining alignment between client business goals and our offerings while upholding operational excellence. This role provides the opportunity to deepen client relationships and drive long-term success through strategic guidance and performance-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee significant projects within Financial Service Controllership & Accounting
- Drive process innovation to enhance service delivery and effectiveness
- Serve as a key advisor, maintaining alignment of client objectives with our services
- Cultivate and strengthen long-term client relationships through strategic insights
- Deliver performance-driven solutions that support operational excellence
- Collaborate with teams to identify and implement improved practices
- Analyze complex issues and provide actionable recommendations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality standards
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance
- At least 7 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Demonstrating in-depth team leadership abilities
- Developing scalable mortgage lending accounting solutions
- Supporting customized proposals and client presentations
- Understanding estimation methodology and cost management
- Creating and managing financial models
- Architecting significant accounting managed services solutions
- Adapting to new technologies and learning
- Knowledge of emerging fintech solutions
- Experience with Workday Financial accounting/reporting platform
- Experience with loan servicing systems, financial accounting platforms, and data warehouses
The salary range for this position is: $119,000 - $299,930. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $119,000 - $337,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
