Job Description:The Role
Are you passionate about using your analytical skills to derive insights and drive business strategy and success? Are you curious about being able to formulate the full picture by tying together seemingly disparate data points from multiple sources (e.g., customer attributes and behaviors, transactional history, digital activity, business financials) in to one cohesive story? The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of experience generating analytical insights to drive strategic business initiatives related to customer acquisition, segmentation & retention, product strategy, and market sizing using analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
- A cross-functional collaborator who can work across a team with diverse skills and abilities and find success delivering insights from data to a broad audience in a simple, clear, and actionable way to better understand Fidelity's customers.
- Ability to extract, transform & load data into visualization tools (Tableau) as well as tell the story behind the trends, highlighting successes and friction points to inform various initiatives and strategies.
- Natural intellectual curiosity, initiative, and love for learning new skills and capabilities.
- Experience in ownership & accountability designing and maintaining robust, well-structured data assets working with transactional, demographic, operational and voice of customer data.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative / technical field such as Data or Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or Finance. MBA or MS degree a plus
We are looking for an analytics professional to be a creative and collaborative team member, helping develop and lead data and hypothesis driven initiatives. As an indispensable member of Advanced Analytics & Customer Insights, you'll be embedded in Fidelity's product teams and will work with an agile inter-disciplinary team with a diverse set of skills across analytics, engineering, data science, marketing, product development etc., to optimize and personalize the Fidelity experience.
The base salary range for this position is $97,000-185,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
