As a Manager Research Associate II within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities for the role include:
• Under direction, perform analysis, due diligence research, monitoring, and analytical activities for a variety of investment portfolio disciplines. Participate in manager interviews.
• Actively learn and incorporate due diligence processes and/or portfolio analyses into daily activities. Gather information and independently generate reports.
• Support senior team members to ensure that appropriate investment managers are reviewed, selected for the platform and/or portfolios, and monitored. Use applicable systems to gather information and produce reports.
• Assist in introduction of new investment managers onto the platform and/or into portfolios by providing a robust analysis surrounding the fit of a sector or manager within an overall asset allocation framework.
• Research and compile information to be included in final reports to senior team members. May join analysts in authoring and presenting final reports.
Preferred skills/experience:
• Related industry experience in investment management, investment research, and/or portfolio analytics
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• CFA or pursuing CFA designation
