As a Marketing Specialist within PNC's Marketing organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Position Summary: PNC produces hundreds of millions of direct marketing impressions each year for prospective and current clients. As a Marketing Specialist for the Operational Excellence team, you will execute direct marketing campaigns (primarily direct mail and email), which are a vital part of the PNC marketing mix. Responsibilities include all aspects of direct marketing execution including list development, quality control, production, deployment and post-deployment validation.
We are seeking a team member who has a passion for marketing and project management. The right individual will possess high energy and a desire to learn about what it takes to execute marketing campaigns flawlessly and the importance of innovative thinking. This team member needs to have a collaborative spirit and possess strong communication skills and will work closely with multiple partners including other areas of Marketing and external vendors. The Marketing Specialist will have proven success executing project deliverables on time.
Responsibilities:
• Execute moderate to low risk direct marketing campaigns and others as required
• Coordinate, review and approve marketing workflow activities and tasks
• Perform quality control review of marketing assets; act as second-level reviewer as necessary
• Identify additional process improvements to increase efficiency and mitigate risk of campaigns
• Work with marketing partners to suggest campaign improvements and best practices
• Coordinate communications with marketing and product partners, as necessary
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
• Attention to detail
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Experience with completing a set of tasks as part of an overall process/workflow
• Experience with software/program to manage tasks
• Experience with adherence to Direct Marketing controls is preferred

Job Description
- Under direct supervision, assists in the coordination of basic marketing program execution.
- Develops a strong understanding of existing marketing strategies and ability to implement established programs/initiatives.
- Assists in the coordination and execution of marketing programs/initiatives, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Assists in data collection and synthesis in order to identify trends.
- Ensures all operating activities are delivered within the established budget framework.
- Follows established processes and protocols including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners. Partners with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.
