Your role
Do you have experience in US commercial real estate asset management or transactions? Do you enjoy shaping investment strategies that deliver long term value?

We're looking for a Portfolio Manager, Global Real Assets - Real Estate US, to:

• work with Lead PM to help formulate and execute institutional real estate separate account investment strategies utilizing input from internal groups (Research, AM, Acquisitions, Dispositions), assessments of operating and capital market conditions, and investor expectations
• communicate strategy updates and investment activity to investors and consultants
• contribute to Investment Strategy Reviews and help evolve portfolio thinking
• advance technology solutions that improve portfolio insights and operating efficiency
• guide the client reporting process including annual investment plans and tailored requests
• work closely with Asset Managers to ensure that the real estate strategies and objectives of the separate accounts are executed through wholly owned and joint venture investments
• take part in hold/sell analyses and integrate asset specific factors into broader portfolio aims
• engage with joint venture partners to protect investor interests and support evolving structures
• review and advise on budgets, capital plans and major leasing decisions
• help shape acquisition and disposition priorities to meet portfolio strategy targets
• support financing analysis, transaction execution, capital calls and distributions

Your team
You'll join our Global Real Assets - Real Estate US Separate Account Portfolio Management team in Hartford CT, and will work closely with the Lead Portfolio Manager. We manage longstanding direct real estate separate account relationships that invest across multifamily, industrial, retail and office assets. Our clients value our disciplined approach, thoughtful partnership and decades deep understanding of US real estate. You'll help us design and deliver tailored strategies that support each client's goals while benefiting from the insights, collaboration and scale of the broader Global Real Assets platform.

Your expertise
• ideally 5+ years of commercial real estate experience in portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions, accounting, sales or financing
• experience across multiple property types, including commercial and multifamily; development or renovation exposure is an added benefit
• proficiency evaluating commercial real estate investment opportunities
• familiarity with real estate legal concepts such as purchase and sale contracts, leases, mortgages, appraisals, development contracts, and joint venture agreements
• ability to write clearly and communicate complex ideas with ease
• collaborative approach and comfort working across several internal disciplines
• ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet timelines
• familiarity with ARGUS or other cash flow modelling tools; experience with DealPath, VTS or RealPage is helpful
• undergraduate degree in business, finance, real estate, economics, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, finance, real estate development or equivalent) is beneficial
