Description
Position OverviewAt PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage in the markets we serve. We are all united in delivering the best experience for our customers. We work together each day to foster an inclusive workplace culture where all of our employees feel respected, valued and have an opportunity to contribute to the company's success. As a Production Quality Analyst within PNC's Commercial Lending Operations organization, you will be based in Denver, CO.
This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.
In QC Originations, you will be part of a dynamic team which values collaboration and partnership and is continually striving for improvements in operational efficiency and risk mitigation. This department performs quality reviews, with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness, for loans which are booked on the ACBS system by our Booking and Closing partners. The Quality Review Analyst role involves daily production and quality target achievement of these quality reviews, as well as engagement in regular project work requiring critical analysis and collaboration with various team members and key partners.
In performing quality reviews, effective communication is often required amongst other team members including peers and work leads, as well as upstream partners such as bookers, closers, subject matter experts and more. Strong collaboration and communication ensures we build effective partnerships within our team and with our partners, so we can deliver an exceptional client experience. In this role, you will be expected to analyze the quality of loan deals and packages in a timely fashion with a high degree of accuracy, across all levels of complexity presented to our team. You will be supported by a resource center of standard procedures, an iLearn pathway for targeted learning, and team members who are part of a dynamic and collaborative group willing to help consult on complex questions or concerns.
In addition to daily production of performing quality reviews, your ongoing identification of operational problems, potential risks, and/or your recommendations for process improvement (whether shared in daily huddles or in one-on-one conversations) is highly valued and is essential to our goal of continuous improvement, as this helps us more effectively mitigate risk. When post-quality errors do occur, you will be expected to participate in a root cause analysis dialogue to help us identify opportunities to improve our process, procedures, training, or systems. You may also be involved with other risk mitigation or process improvement projects, outside of standard daily production, which will require effective communication, influence, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Some projects may provide development opportunities such as networking, or learning other parts of the lending process, risk management processes, and other transferrable skills such as preparing procedure documents, honing presentation and meeting facilitation skills, aggregating data, and more. When engaged in various projects or initiatives, you may be collaborating with key partners in our operations teams, technology teams, trainers, and business analytics teams, and more.
We seek motivated, driven and creative individuals that enjoy working as part of a team in a high energy environment which thrives on innovation and ingenuity. You will work together to create new solutions which will provide our clients with an exceptional customer experience. Valued opinions, supported by collaborative teams, impact the success of the Commercial Lending Operations organization.
This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.
