Your role
Are you an expert in assessing value and market trends? Do you have a knack for transforming large data sets into comprehensive reports? Are you good at storytelling based on market insights?

We are looking for a credit analyst to support the existing credit analysts by:

• general industry coverage
• researching and analyzing non-investment grade leveraged loan and high yield bond offerings and making recommendations to CIG Credit Forum. This process is premised on a bottoms up credit selection process with a relative value overlay.
• ongoing monitoring of existing leverage loan and high yield positions
• analysis of secondary credit opportunities
• any ad hoc assignments.

• New York: the salary range for this role is $95000 to $110000

Your team
The Credit Investments Group ("CIG") a business unit within the Investments division of Asset Management, is an industry leader in managing over $57 billion in non-investment grade credit assets across bank loan, high yield bond and structured product portfolios. CIG is one of the largest leveraged credit managers in the US and Western Europe, with an accomplished full-service group of dedicated career credit professionals located in New York, London and Zurich. The investment process is predicated on bottom-up credit selection, which has generated favorable risk-adjusted returns with lower relative volatility than the benchmark for the last 25 years.

Your expertise
• Ideally 1+ year of experience in corporate/leveraged finance
• Investment banking / Leveraged Finance experience preferred
• Finance & Accounting skills required
• Strong communication skills
• Self starter approach who can thrive in a flat structured team
