Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst
The Fidelity Insurance Group (FIG) Technology team is a small, growing team in Enterprise Services with a 'Start Up' feel. We are seeking an upbeat, hardworking Systems Analyst to join our organization as we grow and pave our path forward. We will have a focus on modernizing and building innovative and cloud-native experiences, capabilities, and platforms in support of millions of customers who are seeking products that provide guaranteed income and/or protection. We are an emerging group in Fidelity with strategic financial backing that needs someone who can help us as we move into the future!
The Role
Seeking an experienced, skilled, and upbeat Systems Analyst to join a squad responsible for support across multiple business verticals in FIG. You will join one or more cross-functional squads, engaging with all team members and the Squad Leader to define systems requirements, analyze complex integrations, interact with external software systems, analyze data structures, and support our production systems (as needed). By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 6 years of total engineering and systems analysis experience
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of tools and techniques for presenting and analyzing data including SQL, Access, Excel, relational databases, XML, JSON, XSD, Postman/Insomnia and SQL developer
- Affinity for data; where to get it, how to use it, what it means
- Ability to understand the technology and software architecture of an application
- Self-starter, team-focused, independent, collaborative, and can work with minimum supervision
- Demonstrable expertise in system analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, testing, and product documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Communicates clearly, concisely, and impactfully to influence others
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and adapting to organizational changes
- Approaches work with an open mind and sense of creativity by challenging current practices and recommending improvements
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous circumstances and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- Growth mentality with a passion for continuous learning and development
- Demonstrable ability to work in an Agile environment is preferred
- Experience within the financial services industry (especially life insurance) is a plus
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
The Team
The Fidelity Insurance Group (FIG) Technology team is a recently established group aimed at providing transparent solutions and support for all of FIG's business functions. We partner with internal FIG stakeholders and multiple organizations across Fidelity, most notably the Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) to deliver modern solutions that scale. It is an exciting time in this space with much potential for growth and innovation!

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
