Charles Schwab Trust Bank (CSTB), provides trust, custody, trading, and technical services to our clients, who are third party administrators, plan advisors and plan sponsors. Cash Operations' goal is to meet the needs of RBS by providing superior client service as it relates to the processing of incoming and outgoing cash activity and all associated regulatory reporting.
The Revenue Management Team is responsible for creating quarterly and off-cycle invoices and collecting payments for our clients and mutual fund companies. We also provide timely reporting on fees paid by our clients as it pertains to regulatory code 408b2 and 5500 Schedule C reporting. Additionally, we execute Shareholder Servicing Payments (SSP) to our clients. As an Operations unit with a direct impact to clients, the goal for the group is to deliver total quality. We also manage relationships with internal business partners, maintain and test various internal and vendor-supplied systems, and ensure absolute compliance with all governing regulations and requirements. Our primary objective is to successfully process client invoices and fee payments, while maintaining proper controls to mitigate risk to the firm.
A Specialist has a strong understanding of the retirement market. This position is responsible for understanding high level operational processes within the group, performing pertinent reviews, executing appropriate risk mitigation, and driving efficiency through process improvements. This is a fast paced, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven position which may require overtime during critical production periods.
The Specialist position will be responsible for processing reports, responding to various departments inquires or requests on transactions processed by the team, and daily maintenance of clients' accounts. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are vital to be successful in this position. You must be able to meet individual deadlines but also work as a team and communicate effectively with various departments. The Specialist role requires a strong knowledge of Excel, Access, and analytical skills. You will also be responsible for supporting various tasks in support of the team's deliverables.
Specialist responsibilities include:
- Support the calculating and reporting SSP process
- Support internal business partners including research of client inquiries
- Generate Ad Hoc reports as well as monthly/quarterly reports.
- Open, close, and maintain client accounts
- Process 408b2 and 5500 Schedule C reporting and Fee processing
- Adapting to changing priorities and responding to everchanging urgencies
