Job Responsibilities: Responsible for design, implementation, and deployment of mission critical projects and applications that support the requirements of the business and customer community and provide robust and continuous operation for the management of the clients' retirement accounts. Contribute to the design and development on multiple applications across the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) application portfolio. Lead software design, development, and testing at the direction of senior staff throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Deliver quality software on-time and on-budget including design, coding, testing, deployment, and certification. Lead technical design and solution activities within the team, helping to define development strategies. Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical upscaling. Collaborate with management team, architect, product owner, and QA to identify end-user requirements and specifications (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize). Design software solutions and translate business requirements to detailed functional specifications for efficient, dependable, and reliable solutions according to the established acceptance criteria and programming standards. Develop code to implement solutions in a manner that is straightforward, clear, and consistent with existing software modules and in compliance with the established Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
What you have
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Geography, Urban Planning, or related degree and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 72 months of experience involving the following: Web front-end development including Angular, Single Page Application (SPA), Responsive Design, Bootstrap, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS; Designing and developing distributed systems using service-oriented architecture, microservices, and message queuing by creating RESTful Web APIs in Microsoft .NET Core using token-based security with OAUTH 2 and JWT; ASP.Net WebForms and MVC software development in C#.NET and .NET Core using Domain Driven design principles in an enterprise application environment, and using software design patterns (such as repository, factory, strategy, singleton, and dependency injection); Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment using the following modern tools: Bamboo, BitBucket/Git, Puppet, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline; Building and executing automated tests in both Karma and Selenium; Database development using MS SQL, building database queries, database objects, stored procedures, and query performance tuning; and Translating, building, testing, and deploying Visual Basic/COM applications to modern .NET software languages and design patterns.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
