The Internal Mobility Team (IMT) plays a critical role in enabling career growth across Schwab. The team manages the full lifecycle of internal-only requisitions, partnering closely with hiring leaders and delivery teams to align business needs with internal talent opportunities. Through thoughtful consultation and coaching, the team supports best-in-class hiring practices, sources and assesses internal talent, and designs strategies that encourage career progression and mobility. By leading career mobility conversations, presentations, events, and workshops, the team actively champions internal movement and development. Strong collaboration with HR Centers of Expertise and the Grow with Schwab team ensures a cohesive, firm-wide approach to mobility and employee growth.
Key Outcomes:
- Partner closely with hiring leaders to assess, guide, and advocate for internal talent across the organization.
- Design and execute tailored recruiting strategies that balance business priorities with employee career aspirations, while delivering a positive, transparent, and consultative experience for both hiring leaders and candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Help employees own their tomorrow while supporting Schwab's commitment to integrity, collaboration, and shared success.
Please Note: This is an in-office role, requiring on-site presence in one of our posted Schwab locations a minimum of four days per week, with the flexibility of working remotely one day per week.
What you have
To ensure we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo", this role has specific qualifications candidates should have for success:
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience supporting a variety of roles and functions
- Strong understanding of the talent market, including internal talent dynamics, supply and demand, and competitive trends
- Demonstrated ability to apply best in class recruiting practices such as pipeline management, candidate qualification, networking, talent assessment, market research, and job analysis
- Proven ability to influence, build credibility, and establish strong partnerships with hiring leaders, business partners, and candidates
- Strong candidate engagement and conversion skills, including the ability to effectively position Schwab as an employer of choice and clearly articulate the value of specific opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong consultative mindset with the ability to solve problems, offer sound recommendations, and guide leaders through hiring decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated success proactively identifying and engaging top talent through networking and long-term relationship building
- High degree of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with workload fluctuating based on role complexity and hiring volume
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Ability to handle a workload of up to 35 to 40 requisitions at one time (depending on complexity of roles, hiring volume may fluctuate)
- BS/BA degree in Human Resources or a related field and/or equivalent work experience
