Personal Choice Investment Services (PCIS) works directly with Personal Choice Retirement Accounts (PCRA) for retirement plans and health savings accounts. PCIS works with many of the biggest names in the Retirement and HSA industries to provide brokerage accounts that are established by plan participants within an employer-sponsored retirement plan (401K, 403B, etc.) or Health Savings Brokerage Account (HSBA).
The PCIS Participant Services Team Lead position requires an effective leader who can help to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team responsible for performing and executing on our organization's purpose and mission. Team Leads are accountable for facilitating the team's ability to deliver business results and creating a work environment that promotes employee engagement across all four locations. This includes helping to provide the information, resources, feedback, coaching and recognition that help employees improve their performance. Team Leads are responsible for assisting in developing necessary process improvements, communications and effective working relationships that establish accountability and positively impact the team, and stakeholders.
You will ensure "best in class" service for our clients, including HSA and retirement Plan Providers, Plans, TPAs, Advisors, and Participants by:
- Responding to questions on a wide array of trading, technical and operational subjects.
- Effectively managing, and coaching others, evaluating risk when reviewing client issues.
- Performing work that is detailed and communicated in a clear, effective manner.
- Problem solving and conducting research/special requests through the use of email, telephone, cases, video meetings and side by side.
- Actively listening, assessing associate and client needs, researching information, and providing clients innovative solutions.
- Receiving and effectively resolving escalations to the clients' satisfaction and take action quickly in a high-risk environment to mitigate risk to the firm.
- Helping to drive business initiatives and results by developing strong partnerships.
- Proactively educating specialists, clients and internal partners on our products and services.
- Helping lead others and be a role model and mentor to your peers.
- Recognizing opportunities for improvement and recommend changes in current processes or procedures to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Helping to foster teamwork in a diverse and multi-location work environment.
- Performing any other tasks or special projects that are assigned.
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in brokerage/financial industry, with emphasis on customer service.
- Licensing requirements:
- Series 7, 63/66.
- Series 9/10 or 24/4 may be obtained under a Condition of Employment.
- Advanced level of knowledge regarding retirement accounts and the securities industry.
- Maintain a professional attitude and exhibit emotional intelligence.
- Intermediate to advance technical skills, with the ability to use 7 or more different applications efficiently, including knowledge of Microsoft applications, Windows, internet research, database systems, and email.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Capable of handling an ever-changing environment.
- Adept at teamwork across multiple locations.
- Positive attitude, team oriented, proactive, enthusiastic, professional, forward thinker with a strong work ethic.
- Passion for service and the desire to help and develop people.
- Ability to listen and to explain complex subjects in simpler terms.
- Excellent operational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage complex work.
- Capable of building and maintaining visibility and strong relationships remotely and across locations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a full understanding of our business.
- Possess a sense of urgency and commitment to provide the highest level of service to specialists and clients.
- Flexible regarding both schedule and role as both may change with little notice in response to business demand.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Trading experience strongly preferred.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
