Workplace Services Engineering is growing at Schwab! We are looking for an SDET Tech Lead who can help drive our modernization and automation efforts specific to our Equity Compensation Technology department. A successful candidate would be a servant leader who likes to stay hands to keyboard. They will be asked to design testing solutions, build test automation tools, use AI to accelerate delivery, while developing standards and best practices for the SDET community. This role will also provide mentorship to junior associates, work closely with architecture on target state designs and work directly with delivery teams.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years development experience with Java, Junit, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring boot
- 7+ years development experience with Test Automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Bruno
- 3+ years of experience with BDD, Cucumber, & Gherkin
- 2+ years of experience automating with AI & Playwright
- Experience optimizing methods for integrating, consolidating, and cleansing data with compliance
- Experience leading initiatives to establish advanced incident response methods and optimize processes
- Demonstrated experience implementing advanced QA testing methodologies and drives robust compliance verification
- Expertise to improve requirements management processes across teams, projects, or
programs - Experience managing initiatives to optimize controls and manage cryptographic functions
- Experience optimizing software design methodologies through effective leadership and process refinement
- Experience leading the execution of system design strategies for cloud-based environments
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
