This dynamic role is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving Fidelity's Healthcare Group clients' and prospective clients' requirements in a fast-paced, unexpected environment. The Expertise We're Looking For
- Health & Welfare outsourcing services expertise required.
- Bachelor's Degree, minimum; Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years related product/ industry experience; 4 - 5+ years of Fidelity experience desirable.
- Health & Insurance and/or individual property and casualty broker license desirable
- Approximately 50% travel requirement.
The Purpose of Your Role
You will work closely with Account Executives, Managing Directors and Product & Service Consultants to win Health and Welfare for our largest clients. You will be responsible for performing a comprehensive analysis of a client's requirements for participants and plan sponsors which includes reviewing their plan document(s) and successfully representing the Fidelity solution during the sales process. You'll collaborate with Workplace Solution customers to position our standard product offering to meet their needs or, when needed, develop unique solutions.
This role relies heavily upon your knowledge of all of our Healthcare products, services and processes as well as your ability to think strategically, coordinate with clients and their consultants, and collaborate with internal business partners.

The Value You Deliver
- Helping to grow the Health & Welfare business as we expand our capabilities and market reach
- Performing strategic analyses on behalf of clients and prospects to identify fit and potential service model issues which may require exception management.
- Performing detailed plan document review for potential new business relationships and detailing standard & non-standard product/ service requirements.
- Owning internal exception approval process steps to find proven solutions.
- Providing subject matter expertise on health and welfare benefit issues during the sales/ rebid process.
- Participating in the differentiation of Fidelity's image in the HR/Finance/Benefits community through thoughtful RFP responses, high impact presentations, and preparing other team members for the presentations.
- Owning the integrity of final RFP responses and ensuring that our team of Account Executives understand the solution being offered.
- Consulting with prospective clients and representing the Fidelity value proposition as part of the broader solution offering.
- Monitoring benefits developments and industry and competitive trends on an ongoing basis.
- Representing the voice of the customer/market to influence product roadmap
- Catalyzing change within the team and business unit with an eye for customer needs.
- Providing real time market feedback to product, systems and marketing organizations.

Our team within Workplace Investing Sales, strives to win and retain clients through outstanding solutions while mitigating risk to the firm. Keeping and growing our client base helps maintain our position as the leading benefits outsourcing provider.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $190,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
