Charles Schwab's Digital Integrated & Core Experiences (DICE) is centralized under the Digital Retail organization. The purpose of DICE is to drive seamless, consistent digital journeys that builds trust through unified experiences. Digital Messaging drives integration and streamlined strategic messaging experiences for enterprise partners. We are responsible for the platform that delivers billions of service, subscription, and regulatory messages via digital channels to keep clients and advisors informed in support of their financial goals.
In this role, you will support the digital messaging as product owner working with development teams to build features and enhancements for our message delivery channels and to monitor and resolve production issues. You will also contribute to the auditing aspects regarding digital messaging communications ensuring our compliance with firm and industry regulations.
The team is responsible for:
- Strategy - Envisioning the future and supporting near-term and long-term outcome-oriented roadmaps for the digital messaging platform and channel infrastructure.
- Execution - Defining, building, and implementing message delivery channel capabilities that support client and business needs.
- Client Service - Ensuring scalable digital messaging solutions that create engaging client experiences and help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Partnership - Collaborating with technology, production support, compliance, and upstream partner teams to deliver digital messaging value.
What you'll do:
- Partner with Product Managers and development teams to execute features and enhancements for the Digital Messaging platform and message delivery channels.
- Write clear, well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria that meet Definition of Ready standards and enable efficient, high-quality delivery.
- Maintain a prioritized and transparent team backlog, regularly refining and sequencing work in alignment with product priorities and delivery commitments.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, design, business, and compliance partners to define release requirements, clarify scope, and resolve questions quickly.
- Support production monitoring and issue investigation, contributing to root-cause analysis, remediation coordination, and partner communication as issues arise.
- Contribute to defining, documenting, and monitoring key platform metrics related to performance, availability, security, and scalability.
- Assist with process documentation for new and existing platform capabilities and operational workflows.
- Provide clear, concise status updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and changes to Product Managers and partner teams, escalating issues early when needed.
- Support engagement and awareness plans related to production monitoring, platform health, and ongoing enhancements.
- Operate with an outcomes-focused mindset, supporting OKRs and delivery goals for clients, the firm, and the team.
- Build working knowledge of Digital Messaging delivery channels and participate in product and stakeholder discussions to support informed execution decisions.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree , or equivalent work experience (MBA preferred).
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing and product teams to lead the entire lifecycle of a digital platform.
- Experience with MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Vizio, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Product Manager experience.
- Experience with Tableau, Splunk, Confluence, and Jira.
- Working knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance considerations.
- Experience contributing to OKRs, KPIs, and service-level expectations.
- Ability to support data-informed decision-making using analytics, insights, and operational metrics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables with guidance from senior Product Managers.
- Confidence tailoring communication for different audiences, including senior leadership.
- Experience supporting platform performance, security, and availability, and understanding how these factors impact client experience.
- Curiosity, a can-do attitude, and the ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
