As a member of Advisor Services Technology (AST), Service Availability and Engineering team, you will be immersed in a collaborative and innovative environment. We have industry - leading services designed for the success of Independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). We offer Trading Platform and Products, Account Management and Digital Onboarding, Data and Tech Integrations, and Wealth Management with Advanced Security to protect and serve our clients.

We are seeking a motivated Engineer to lead and deliver exceptional solutions for the production resiliency of our Advisor Data and Tech Integration Applications. The role incorporates aspects of software engineering and operations, SRE practices embracing automation to effectively oversee critical Data applications both in Cloud and on premise. The role will require a high level of responsibility and accountability to deliver technical solutions to maintain the resilience of our applications.

What you'll do

• Practice Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and solve problems through automation and innovation, augment SRE principles and guidelines.

• Partner with SMEs in AST to ensure implementations are architected and designed from the aspect of production resiliency.

• Identify opportunities to build innovative tools and solve unique operations problems on large enterprise and mission critical applications.

• Real-Time troubleshooting of mission critical application workflows and participate in Oncall escalations during Market and off hours.

• Oversee Nightly batch runs to make sure no SLA breaches are encountered and Data files to our client firms are delivered on time.

• Work closely with dev teams during design phase, build and perform infrastructure upgrades to support our applications' availability and reliability.

• Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, improve our compliance procedures and enhance our risk posture.

• Partner within the Support organizations to build and rollout plans for enhanced telemetry and reduce defect leakage for software delivery to production.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering , preferred with few of enterprise experience with listed technical skills.

• Experience with DevOps Tools - Bamboo, Bitbucket GitHub , familiarity with CICD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

• Programming experience with C#, .Net, JAVA with insights into Scripting and Automation.

• Preferred Database experience with Oracle, SQL Server .

• Preferred knowledge of Cloud Platforms wit h working expertise in GCP/ AWS / Azure .

• Preferred e xperience with Monitoring tools - Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana .

• Receptive, approachable teammate, with the ability to positively interact with Team members.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills , analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues quickly.
