Your role
UBS Asset Management (Americas) LLC is seeking a Director, Investment Specialist in New York, NY.

We're looking for a Director, Investment Specialist to:
• Identify and cultivate prospective investors and initiate follow-ups of new business opportunities. Promote the distribution of our investment capabilities, participate in new business development initiatives, product launches and marketing efforts.
• Develop into portfolio specialist leading client relationships; ability to educate junior investment specialists within the team.
• Work across the investment, middle and back office teams as part of the monthly investment process. Assist in managing client relationships across commingled and customized offerings for a diversified investor base, which includes institutional, UHNW, and wholesale clients.
• Prepare monthly performance reporting and portfolio deliverables, as well as customized content for clients, including ad-hoc portfolio analysis, research content, investment data requests and performance commentary.
• Develop cross-divisional internal relationships, primarily with wealth management and asset management partners. Coordinate and prepare materials for interactions with existing clients and prospect meetings. Can work hybrid (In-office/Remote).

Salary Range & Work Schedule: $180,000 to $235,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your expertise
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial & Investment Specialist, Hedge Fund Investment Specialist, or a related occupation.

• This position requires experience with the following: Hedge fund strategies and value proposition relative to other asset classes; Hedge fund structures and investing; Portfolio theory including risk management and diversification; Analyzing investment performance to produce verbal or written reports; Client segments across Retail, UHNW, and Institutional; Coordination across bank-wide internal groups including geography, division, and front to back office; Asset Management; and Capital markets.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 180000 - max USD 235000 /annum

The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
