The Role
Are you looking to make an impact on a leading trading desk? This is an exciting opportunity to become a key stakeholder in the execution of systematic, model-driven equity flow! You will be responsible for designing and overseeing our algo trading by evaluating execution venue results and working directly with counterparties on their execution results. In this role your primary responsibility will be for algo trading, but you will also play a critical role as the backup for our high touch traders.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Your strong analytical capabilities and deep familiarity with transaction cost analysis (TCA) methodologies will be crucial for success. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of equity market structure and hands-on experience with Execution Management Systems (EMS) workflows. You should be comfortable using data to make decisions and are adept at owning execution outcomes at scale. We prefer candidates with at least 5 years of experience in equity electronic trading that have worked directly with systematic order flow. While you will operate independently, you will also be a strong collaborator and team player and bring unique insights to our team. Being detail-oriented nature with a strong sense of accountability are key attributes for this position.
The core work of this role involves:
- Overseeing the auto-routing and execution for all algorithmic trading.
- Building and maintaining frameworks for dynamic venue weighting and rotation.
- Analyzing the performance of venues, focusing on fill rates, information leakage, and post-trade price reversion.
- Leading periodic reviews to determine when liquidity sources should be adjusted.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
