The Role
Fidelity is seeking to hire a Quantitative Analyst to join its Quantitative Research and Investments division. This position will be located in Fidelity's office in Merrimack, New Hampshire. The analyst will work with traders and portfolio managers on the money market team to develop quantitative techniques, models, and tools to support and strengthen the investment process.

Your ability to consistently develop, clearly articulate, and effectively communicate investment recommendations supported by a comprehensive and thoughtful research process is critical to success in investment management at Fidelity.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
These attributes are indispensable:
- 3+ years of industry experience as a quantitative analyst
- Strong working knowledge of Python, SQL
- Very strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills and an eagerness to work in a team environment
- Deep comfort with applied mathematics and statistics
- Demonstrated expertise in technical and financial problem solving
- Familiarity with fixed income analytics
These attributes are strongly preferred:
- Good working knowledge of relational databases, Snowflake and Oracle
- Advanced degree in a discipline of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Interest and passion for investing and the financial markets
- Familiarity with fixed income trading workflows, data, pricing and market engagement models
The Group
Quantitative Research and Investing (QRI) is an investments and research division within Asset Management at Fidelity. QRI is responsible for managing and developing quantitative and hybrid quant/fundamental investment strategies and solutions while also providing high quality quantitative, data-driven research to Fidelity's investment professionals, ensuring they have access to the most relevant data and advanced quantitative analysis.
Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
