Your role
The Strategic Insights & Advisory Group's bankers are an integral, client-facing team within Global Banking. The team helps originate M&A opportunities, raise equity for clients, guide companies through financial restructuring, discuss strategic alternatives geared towards growth, and provide other corporate strategy and corporate finance advisory services.

• Responsibilities of the team hire include using differentiating and proprietary corporate finance frameworks in the context of client coverage, buy- or sell-side M&A, equity offerings (including IPOs), or strategic plan evaluations
• You will coordinate with senior coverage bankers to provide innovative solutions for Global Banking clients
• This role requires extensive financial modeling and knowledge of corporate finance and strategy in the context of the Global Banking business
• You will build a network of colleagues and client contacts both inside and outside UBS that will strengthen your career throughout your professional life
• Work alongside some of the industry's best bankers and have exposure to senior people at a diverse set of companies across all industries, both domestically and internationally

Your team
Strategic Insights & Advisory (SI&A) provides market driven and substantial strategic insights via differentiated analytical frameworks. In doing so, we help the clients of UBS Global Banking make better decisions to improve value-creation.

The team works with industry, product and country coverage partners to advise the senior executives of corporate clients regarding the key drivers of their companies' market value. With that perspective, SI&A advises on what actions our clients may take to deliver outstanding returns to shareholders in the following areas like capital allocation strategy, M&A (buy-side and sell-side) and Equity offerings / IPOs.

SI&A is an integral part of how UBS advises its corporate clients globally:

• The team helps our corporate clients' link corporate operating performance to market reactions and to make better strategic decisions to improve shareholder value.

• SI&A provides providing significant, market driven insights via differentiated analytical frameworks, which are anchored in principles of fundamental value creation.

• The team also uses AI driven large language models to analyze our clients' equity narratives

Your expertise

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 90000 - max USD 102500 /annum

The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
