This position is responsible for the management, design, automation and analysis of data for the Trading Operations/Admin teams. Analysis of this data directly impacts and influences strategic decisions regarding how the firm handles its client orders and satisfies regulatory requirements. The role will require strong collaboration and relationship building with both centralized and decentralized technology support and analytics groups. Good communication and collaboration skills are a must.
In this role, you'll turn help assemble and manage complex, multi-sourced data into meaningful solutions that drive insights for smarter business decisions. You'll build, automate, and manage data assets primarily within Google BigQuery using tools and languages such as SQL, Python, C#, and Visual Studio. And by delivering clear reporting, dashboards, and visualizations through Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint, you'll help leaders quickly understand what the data is telling them-and what actions to take next.
You'll collaborate closely across teams as One Schwab, strengthening data quality, identifying gaps, and partnering with business leaders to shape metrics and KPIs that matter. What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years hands-on experience working with database management systems such as Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, and Google Cloud.
- 5+years of advanced SQL development experience including proper table design and creation, partitions, indexes, and stored procedures as well as expert querying techniques to optimize performance and efficiency.
- 2+ years of experience creating, managing, and automating ETL processes.
- 2+ years of experience using programming languages such as C# and Python.
- Experience using and developing properly structured/engineered data models to support advanced analytics and reporting.
- 3+ years providing impactful data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools.
- Keen interest in and proven track-record of improving processes and creating efficiencies.
- Must be comfortable with constantly evolving environment and rapidly changing priorities.
- Must be Business-Centric, Data-Oriented, Analytically Minded, and Results Driven.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid critical thinking skills to scope and frame problems and propose appropriate solutions.
- Displays excellent judgment to understand and support business needs.
- Must be able to effectively plan and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and relationship building ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Quantitative Analytics, or Computer Science.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
