Description
The Senior Investment Performance Analytics Analyst is a trusted expert who delivers critical performance insights across our investment platform. You'll partner with portfolio management, marketing, client services, compliance, and other teams to provide the analytics that drive key business decisions. This role combines deep technical expertise in multi-asset performance measurement with strong stakeholder relationships. Working with autonomy, you'll lead complex workflows, solve challenging problems, and help shape how we evolve our performance capabilities to meet the firm's needs.Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Support reporting needs across asset classes (equity, fixed income, and alternatives) encompassing investment performance, attribution, characteristics and risk statistics
- Calculate, analyze, and interpret performance returns and attribution across equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative investment strategies
- Perform comprehensive reconciliation of performance metrics to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting channels
- Generate and distribute performance analytics, portfolio characteristics, and attribution analysis to internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as subject matter expert on complex attribution methodologies and performance measurement challenges
- Act as key point of contact for internal business partners across front office, marketing, client reporting, and compliance teams
- Participate in enterprise projects ensuring deadlines are met while collaborating with other business units throughout the firm
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving needs and proactively deliver solutions that support business objectives
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements in analytics and attribution processes

Required Skills:
- Experience with investment performance measurement or related investment industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Strong understanding of performance calculation methodologies, attribution frameworks, risk statistics, and GIPS Compliance principles
- Experience with performance software platforms such as FactSet, Eagle PACE, or Bloomberg PORT
- Progress toward or completion of CFA or CIPM designation strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with high degree of autonomy while knowing when to seek input or escalate issues
- Interest in and experience applying generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and analytics capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skill including VBA automation and troubleshooting

Base Pay Range: $92,200/yr - $111,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
