As a Software Engineer Sr - ETL Developer within PNC's Capital Markets organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX.
This role will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining ETL and reporting solutions that support intraday monitoring and end of day analytics within Capital Markets. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and technology peers to translate complex data and reporting needs into scalable, high quality software solutions.

Job Description Core Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis and documentation of source data, business processes, escalations, and reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines supporting end user data layers for intraday monitoring and end of day analytics.
- Manage data enrichment, data quality controls, SQL logic, and business rules for analytics and reporting layers.
- Develop and enhance reporting solutions used for real time monitoring and end of day analytics.
- Provide detailed technical design for software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Propose and design solutions to address complex business and data challenges within Capital Markets.
- Write, test, and deploy high quality, production ready code.
- Prepare and maintain technical and procedural documentation.
- Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and debugging of applications and data pipelines.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Senior level experience in ETL development and data engineering within complex, data driven environments.
- Advanced SQL expertise, including performance tuning, data validation, and complex transformations.
- Strong experience working with data quality, data enrichment, and business rule implementation.
- Proven ability to perform technical analysis and documentation, translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Experience developing analytics and reporting solutions, including intraday and end of day reporting use cases.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, deployment, and maintainability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
