Our HR Data Operations team provides an exceptional experience to employees and the Centers of Expertise we support. HR Shared Services is the delivery arm of HR. We support employees and People Leaders in navigating HR processes and needs.
As a Specialist, HR Data Operations, you will partner closely with our Legal teams as well as our Centers of Expertise (COE's) to deliver a seamless experience for our employees including the adoption and promotion of employee self-help tools, automation, and constant review of services and service levels. You will play a key role in the optimization of current processes and activities, to improve and enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Apply intermediate knowledge of Data Operations processes and related systems, including Workday and ServiceNow, to complete assigned work accurately and consistently.
- Resolve routine and somewhat complex HR data cases within defined procedures, using available resources and partner guidance as needed.
- Use MyHR, Workday, and SharePoint to manage cases, maintain documentation, review trends, and support accurate tracking of data.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SharePoint, including maintaining employee documentation, organizing resources, and supporting accurate access to information.
- Regularly attend team and partner meetings with Data Operations and Shared Services partners to share observations, trends and feedback supported by system data.
- Collaborate with partners in Legal, Compensation, Payroll, and other HR teams to gather information and support timely issue resolution.
- Assist with team initiatives to review quality, improve processes, test system enhancements, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Handle sensitive and highly confidential employee and HR information with strong judgment, accuracy and discretion.
- Support updates to operating procedures and team documentation to align with changing policies, process improvements, and record retention practices.
- Apply basic record retention rules and practices when maintaining documentation, files, and case-related materials.
- Provide service to employees by resolving problems, offering solutions, taking corrective actions, and coordinating with Workday and HR partners, as needed.
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience working within a Human Resources or Data Analysis role
- 2-3 years of back-end fulfillment experience in HR Platforms and/or Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
- Experience analyzing Excel reports to identify trends and sort/track data
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with employees and external partners.
- High attention to detail with exceptional time-management skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Previous success adapting processes and updating operating procedures to meet changing policies and government / state guidelines
- Successful history collaborating with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR program owners to shape the employee experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources and/or equivalent HR experience.
- Provide service to employees by resolving problems, offering solutions, taking corrective actions, and coordinating with Workday and HR partners, as needed.
