We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr Digital Product Manager (individual contributor) responsible for defining and driving features as part of the Digital Wealth Solutions - Performance Reporting Platform team. As a member of this team, you will help with organizing and managing the intake and prioritization of features for a Scrum team and serve as SME and business representative for the team. This role will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing digital product strategies that align with Schwab's focus on providing a best-in-class client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital financial products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technology, design, offer, and other departments to ensure successful product development and timely delivery
- Financial Services & Wealth Management Expertise: Utilize your Financial Services and Wealth Management background to create digital solutions that cater to the needs of our clients
- Agile Product Management: Lead product development in an Agile environment, ensuring milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and products are delivered in an iterative manner
- Customer Focus: Engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather insights and translate them into product requirements
- Data-Centricity: Ensure data sources, architecture, and governance align with product goals and enable effective use of AI, personalization, and insights for the performance reporting experience
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities, product enhancements, and ensure that our products meet the needs of our clients
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze product performance, user feedback, and key metrics to make informed decisions and optimize product offerings
What you have
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in digital product management, preferably with 5+ years in the Financial Services, Fintech, or related industries
- Experience with Agile product development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strategic and effective problem solver with the ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that outcome into substantial roadmaps and results
- Strong knowledge base and experience developing or leading digital experiences, coupled with knowledge of the underlying technology, both current and emerging
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization
- Highly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, operations, marketing, and product teams
- Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding and/or experience with investment performance measurement
- CIPM Certification or Investment Foundation Certificate
- Demonstrated interest and experience in applying generative AI to enhance digital client experiences, including tools like GPT-based assistants, document summarization, and predictive modeling
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
